I work within MGO’s State and Local Government practice group, leading large, complex municipal audits. My efforts are particularly focused on the City and the County of Sacramento, the state of California’s federal compliance audit, the County of San Diego, and the Oakland Housing Authority.

I have spent my entire accounting career serving the public sector. Besides an engagement client service partner, I also serve as a quality control review partner for numerous financial statement audits conducted throughout the firm. I previously served as a member of the firm's professional practice group (the firm’s technical research department).

I have served as the lead engagement partner for conducting the federal compliance audit for the state of California, the largest federal compliance audit in the country with more than $140 billion in federal funds.

My extensive experience serving clients preparing ACFR's for GFOA's Excellence in Financial Reporting program that covers a broad spectrum of governmental entities, which include general purpose governments, transit districts, housing authorities, water, and port authorities.
